I barely think about it anymore
That bagel shop around the corner
Walking back to 34th and 9th
With a handful of lox and cream cheese
On a gloomy October day
Traversing from Flatiron through Soho
Stopped by the bakery next to union square
at 8pm they still had croissants behind the counter
The lego shop was never not busy
Everyone busy looking for miniatures in the mountain of bricks
I found a box of roses
The never dying roses
Can’t quite say that I have lived there
I only remembered the trains and stations
but never figured out which exit to take
I barely think about it anymore
